Shows: Florence and the Machine

by Jennifer Murtha

One of the hottest artists right now, Florence and the Machine, warmed up the sold out crowd on a cold rainy night at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston. I was so excited because this was my first time shooting at this venue and the first time to photograph Florence. Fully aware of her amazing voice I knew I was in for a night of fantastic music.

The packed tent located right on the water was a beautiful scene for the show even though the weather was so dreary. The curtain dropped and her voice almost grabbed you to join her on an amazing musical journey. Gliding around the stage in an beautiful yellow flowing dress, she captivated the audience with her powerful vocals. Surely a show I won’t soon forget and was happy to be in attendance for.
