It was April 12, 2011 and the Silverlake seemed to be a little less populated than normal. The Boxer Rebellion kicked off their current US tour Tuesday night at the Brighton Music Hall. Not a lot of talk and a lot of rock (the way I like a show) they played to a packed house that helped them sing a long to their indie hits Evacuate and Semi Automatic. This was my first experience seeing them live and I was not disappointed. I’ve been a big fan and am pretty sure I was the only one of my friends who was excited to rush out and by Union when it was released back in 2009. Opening the first night of the tour for the Boxer Rebellion, We Are Augustines brought there soulful rock to the Brighton Music Hall.
